Just to clarify : Cynthia you rented the unit on 5/2/25 and you were told that we were running a special where the first month was free on our storage units but you had to pay a $10 refundable deposit as long as unit was swept clean and empty when you left and a $20 set up administration fee. The total was that you owed was $30 not $40. You claimed to not have $30 and we agreed to let you move into the facility on 5/2/25 with the understanding that you would pay the outstanding $30 that weekend which you did not pay the $30 amount owed to us until 5/10/25. When we came to facility on 5/5/25 we noticed that your storage unit did not have a lock on the unit and you had approximately 20 boxes moved into the unit. We called your cell phone and left a message that since you did not have a lock on the storage unit and someone could steal your belongings we were putting one our locks on the unit to secure it. When you paid the $30 past due balance bring a lock up and place it on the storage unit and we would gladly take our locks off. Finally on 5/10/25 you paid the outstanding balance and we took off the overlock off the unit. If any your belongings got wet on a trailer as you described on your review and were ruined they were damaged we would like to clarify this did not on our property and had you originally paid the $30 amount that you owed and kept a lock on your unit you would have had acess to your unit.
