Public Storage - Aventura - 21288 Biscayne Blvd

I had a problem with staff at this location, but spoke with the District Manager (John) who was amazing, and he took care of everything. A really nice guy who really cares about providing high quality customer service. He said he would work with the staff to improve the customer experience. I am satisfied.

The employees were very helpful and nice. They were able to upgrade me to a climate control unit last minute.

I have recently relocated to South Florida and was in need of a climate controlled storage unit. Back in NC I was happily using a different provider and initially went to one of their Florida locations. While moving everything in both my son and I realized that the facility was quite hot and humid - inside! It was not what was expected and totally unsatisfactory - we checked out another of their locations and while a little bit better - still "in my opinion" not true climate control. **Enter Public Storage and their onsite manager Alicia. First and foremost, their facility was both cooler and less humid than that other company - a much better environment for my belongings which included some oil based artwork. The facility is extremely clean (unlike others) and Alicia, the onsite manage, is extremely helpful, accessible and friendly. This started with my first call and continues with each and every encounter - she seems to have a permanent and sincere smile on her face and you can tell she wants to provide a positive experience to all of her customers. I also like the fact that Public Storage has an emphasis on security - it's been my field of work for decades and it is important. Their gate codes do not follow a pattern as found elsewhere - random numbers are generated making it extremely difficult for anyone to guess your code. Additionally, you need to enter your code to use the elevator and it only allows you to go to your designated floor - another significant safety factor! So far, I've been extremely impressed with the facility, the company and most of all, Alicia as she is the face of Public Storage - at least at this Aventura location. I hope management/leadership above her recognizes her for the professional and positive image she portrays and provides to her customers - it is so very much appreciated!!
