This facility has a loading dock which you can back into and keep yourself and your items in the shade and free from the Florida rain. Highly recommend this public storage facility. Call Jose!!

Jose is efficient and through when signing up to rent a storage unit. During the summer units fill up fast and I managed to get the last one at this location with a discount. Jose was professional and amazing. I highly recommend coming to this public storage.

Hi, a couple of comments regarding Public Storage: Extremely nice employees, courtesy phone call within minutes of booking online, follow up calls to make certain all is well. But there is always a "however". I received an email right away verifying my reservation for a storage unit and it gave me a total price due. Upon arrival to fill out the paperwork. I was shown my reserved space and at that time I was told I was required to have a "cylinder lock" and would not be able to use the padlock I had in my pocket. This added $12.95 plus tax to the fees due. Upon returning to the office to sign paperwork, I was then told I was required to have insurance and was handed a pamphlet that would add more fees - starting at $13.95 per month. I have homeowners insurance that covers my possessions world wide, I called my insurance agent and verified this and had them fax over a declarations page to show I have coverage. While I understand these items are a required part of the leasing, it would be nice to know up front the "real total" required at sign up. On my first visit to bring items to store I walked up and down every aisle to find my unit. There are no visible signs showing which way to go to which unit. I discovered also the units are not in a numerical order which made it take me nearly ten minutes to find my unit then I got totally turned around trying to find the elevator. I would be helpful at least to have some direction arrows to the elevators. A floor plan with unit numbers is something you should give at registration. That is something that would be so easy to provide. The last concern I have is the lack of sufficient hand trucks or 4 wheel carts. So far I have only seen one of each, and they are usually in use. It makes it seemingly unsafe to leave my items 1. in the back of my truck while I go upstairs 2. it would be very unsafe to leave items unattended while taking only a few items that I can hand carry. I am forced to block the elevator door, load my items in the elevator, then unload them on the floor my unit is on and leave them unattended (even just for a few minutes someone could walk off with something unattended) outside the elevator. Everyone has been so very nice and professional at this location.
