We thought we needed a longer term rental, so we booked climate controlled and it was delivered while we were still in another state. We started the space in April, by the time we arrived in June, both "climate controlled" units were so humid in there, we knew we'd have to make other arrangements and luckily we did. We lost clothing, mattresses, bed frames, and furniture to mold, but we would've lost everything had we left our stuff any longer than a few months. Public Storage said that "climate controlled isn't guaranteed" when we called, but those units were absolutely marketed as climate controlled and sold as such. They also force you into insurance but ultimately offered us $150 in return for items lost, which doesn't even cover 1/16th of the cost. It was insulting. The movers said they thought the ac hadn't fully worked in years because they're covered in spider webs and dust; we discovered the units themselves have mold growing in them as we peeled out items. It really was so discouraging. . In addition to this horrible experience, before the movers came, I was running boxes back and forth in the morning and noticed an elderly couple after a few trips, just sitting at the door. I stopped and they explained the situation, so they were waiting to meet someone from public storage. They had been waiting just shy of 2 hours, for an inaccurately scheduled appointment time, when one of the women came to open the office. It was 15 minutes before opening and she refused this woman with hand canes, limited walking ability, a bathroom because as she said "we open in 15 minutes." It was already so warm outside, I just couldn't believe it. Please do not use this facility for anything to be stored of value.

Would leave 0 starts if I could. Paid for a climate controlled unit & it was definitely not. The unit was not even sealed- I could see light coming through the cracks in the door. The unit smelled like mold/mildew/water damage. Water damage stains & bugs everywhere. Do not store anything here you wouldn’t leave outside. Photos tell it all. Unacceptable customer service.

The prices are outrageous. They charged me for a full month from December 13 to December 31. A new month will be began on January 1st. I am going to do everything in my power to have all belongings removed by the end of this month. I initially was supposed to book somewhere else, but They were closed by the time I got there. So unfortunately, I got stuck at this location. I was offered no special at all. Do yourself a favor and shop around.

We have used public storage for about a year and it’s been very convenient. The Bluetooth access to the facility it easy to use and hours are perfect. The property is gated and secure with cameras so I know my stuff is safe. Their office staff has been helpful with moving in and out.
