This has been a nightmare. I found out I had to move in 30 days so I needed a large storage unit along with 1 or 2 parking spaces for my shipping container and my RV. I found this 10 federal facility online and the move in prices were very reasonable and I liked the idea of everything being done via a kiosk instead of having to go to an office during office hours. I decided to reserve the units and filled out the forms and the tentative move in date and used my debit card to secure the reservation. 2 days later a man from 10 federal called me and asked me if I was going to move in the next day and I told him I did not realize the facility was so far from my new place and that I would not be needing the units. He thanked me and told me to please keep them in mind if I needed a storage facility in the future. That afternoon my debit card was charged twice totaling about $70. I reread the email about the reservation and it was supposed to be refundable security deposit on that unit and the parking space that I ended up reserving so I proceeded to attempt to contact 10 Federal storage via their phone number listed online. I have sat on hold every day for almost 3 months waiting for somebody to pick up the phone. There is an option that chimes in that says if you would like a call back someone will contact you back at this number and if you choose that option nobody ever calls you back. I proceeded to get debited again two weeks after the initial debit for the complete cost of the storage even though the first month was supposed to be only 10% or 20% so that in itself is very confusing. Then after a month they tried to charge me for the second month's rent on both units. Mind you the entire time I was calling or attempting to call and talk to somebody there and emailing the company at least once a day if not multiple times a day with no call back and nobody answering the phone. I managed to block the company from debiting my account on the second month but I'm still out the funds for the reservation first month and whatever the fees were that they hit me with the second week. The entire time I'm also receiving text messages that are automated letting me know that I am behind on my payments and I can no longer access the units that I didn't rent in the first place. The idea of a no contact lease at a storage facility with no staff on site with everything done online or through a kiosk sounded like a good idea to me but turned out to be a complete nightmare and as of this time I still have not been able to reach anybody at this company and they're still trying to debit my card. I would avoid this place at all costs. I will be contacting the better Business bureau and the state's attorney's office because the debit that they took for my account two weeks after I reserved the units means that their 10 or 20% move in fee is a lie and fraudulent. Again it all seemed like it would be a great facility to rent from if there was the option to actually speak with a human being when something goes wrong. God forbid I did rent there and my unit was broken into and all my stuff stolen or something along those lines, how in the heck would I contact anybody? I'm a business owner and I hate leaving any negative stuff online about any business but I am so frustrated with this entire situation and it going on 3 months now and I still cannot reach anybody at this company I figured I better warn others to stay away before they get in the same situation. Sometimes being able to call a live person or stop in an office with a live person seems like it's the better option. Note: the other negative review was replied to by the owner asking the person to contact him directly. I would love to know how to do so. That it seems is the entire issue!

Don't believe what you see. I agreed to rent a parking spot for my boat. To be safe, I made sure it was the largest one they offered. I have noticed that my rate has gone up significantly. My last payment was $183 per month. They are advertising the same space as a "standard rate" of $86 per month. When I asked about getting the rate adjusted to my unit, the employee stated, "To be completely honest, that rate is only for new customers." So, as a loyal patron of the business, they can decide whenever they'd like, they can increase my rate. They are falsely advertising their rates to get you in the door so they can charge you two or three times as much when you're not paying attention. No where on the website does it say the rate is for new customers only. They have the standard 50% off your first two months B.S. but they don't tell you they'll raise the rate even after you begin to pay the standard rate.
