I really like this location. The facility is clean, well maintained, and the 24-hour climate control is great. Overall it’s a good storage place. The only issue I’ve noticed is that the men’s restroom on the first floor has not been fixed yet. I also agree with the point made by another reviewer, Emily Johnson. I had a similar experience with the pricing. The promotional rate was offered at first, but no one clearly explained that the price might return to the original rate after a few months. The store manager actually tried to help adjust my rate back to the promotional price in the system, but it couldn’t be changed. I saw it myself. It seems to be a company system policy rather than something the local manager can control. Overall, the facility itself is very good, but I hope the pricing policy can be explained more clearly to customers.

This storage facility is extremely nice and Alex the Manager is really great to work with. We have been renting here for several years and have been very happy with our experience. Highly recommend this location!

I’m extremely frustrated with Public Storage. I was promised a specific rate for my unit for the first three months, and I planned around that price. Now, after just three months, my rate has suddenly been increased—and when I called, I was told there’s nothing they can do. This is a blatant bait-and-switch. They lure customers in with a low, guaranteed price, then break that promise without warning. Customer service was completely unhelpful, dismissive, and unwilling to offer any solution. It feels like once they have your business, your trust and loyalty mean nothing. The facility itself is fine, but that doesn’t make up for the misleading pricing and terrible service. I would strongly caution anyone considering Public Storage—there are plenty of other storage companies that actually honor their agreements and treat customers with respect. Bottom line: Misleading, untrustworthy, and frustrating. Avoid unless you want to risk sudden price hikes with zero recourse

So far fantastic!! Alex called to complete the process and guide me through how to access the building and my unit…super easy and concise. The location is right across the street from my new home. The neighborhood is safe, with lots of options for groceries, dining, etc. while using the moving/accessing the unit. Thanks Alex!

Alex in office was very nice, very helpful when we had questions. The Joplin Rd Public Storage is very clean, safe & convenient location. We trust our storage in the climate controlled unit.
