Very Concerning Experience I rented a unit at this location and recently discovered that my personal lock had been removed and replaced with a red lock. After asking staff to open the unit, I found that several suitcases had been emptied and bags containing clothes, shoes, and other valuables (worth over $50,000) were missing. Staff were unable to provide clear answers and advised me to file a police report and an insurance claim, if applicable. I was later told that there had been multiple break-ins in recent weeks, that there is no overnight security patrol, and that camera coverage is limited. I am still waiting for clarification regarding when this occurred (specific dates), why I was not notified (you have my email and phone number), who authorized access to my unit to place the red lock, why the manager stated that a police report had been filed for this incident (only for me to later discover that none had been filed), and why there was a sudden change of manager and other staff members after the incident. Based on my experience, I strongly recommend carefully evaluating the security measures at this location before storing valuable items and checking your unit regularly.

You went far beyond on explaining service, and I saw it first hand not only with me, but with someone who came in person how you let them know they can call in a payment and other things, things they was not aware of, and was glad to have been told. You was most kind and genuine, which is good, and not a robot or over doing it. Thank you I will be seeing you through out my storage time. Nita at Extra Space Storage is an absolute standout. People with her work ethic are hard to find these days. She went above and beyond to secure the lowest possible rate for me and accommodated every need without hesitation. As if that wasn’t enough, she was incredibly friendly and made the entire experience easy and enjoyable. The only downside is that there isn’t a way to clone Nita—because customer service everywhere would instantly improve if there were more of her. Hats off to Nita and thank you for going the extra mile (and then some).
