Burglary with no notice . My unit was broken into August and I didn’t find out about it until January. No doubt in my mind it was an inside job based on other renters experience upon arrival. Tried to pick the best location to avoid any issues as a first time need to have storage, and definitely made the worst choice with this location. Police report filed but there’s no replacing many of the material and sentimental things lost.

Haden is absolutely incredible. He is so kind and incredibly detailed. The best customer service I’ve experienced at any storage unit ever. We were dealing with a hard situation in our unit and he handled it with such care and consideration. We are so appreciative of him.

Haden at the Vanowen property is literally an angel!! We had to move storage units suddenly and he completely took care of us. We could not have done any of it without him. He took extra time to help us even move large items and helped us the whole way through. We are so incredibly grateful for him. If you are wanting to rent, definitely rent at Vanowen and ask for Haden because you will be completely satisfied. Thank you so much Haden again for everything

Just moved to L.A, tried out different storages and THIS one is the best in my opinion. The property is safe, the management are all good people (respectfully talk to them about your situation and they will actually try to help you 🔑 ) most of all, the property manager, Marco helped me through a tough situation and continued to go out of his way to make sure I was taken care of. This guy is the main reason I’m leaving this review. Talk to Marco and he’ll gladly help you! Thank you, Public Storage 🙌

In life, you rarely get a 5 star experience. Movies don’t seem to be as good as they used to, restaurants have iPads now, and customer service has gone the way of the dinosaur. Well, at least I used to believe that last part. We called up Public Storage yesterday in a moment of need, and boy, did they deliver. We wanted to take a look at a few different sized units in the North Hollywood area and the gentleman we spoke to on the phone directed us to a few affordable options at this Vanowen location. We cruised over and parked in the very spacious lot, and then wandered inside the lobby. Haden was sitting at the front desk waiting to greet us. His friendliness was immediately disarming, and he made us feel like VIP customers. He showed us the two differently sized units and gave us ample time to make our final decision. He walked us through the entire process, not missing a single detail, and swiftly set us up with our dream storage unit. We were able to begin moving our items just a few minutes later. Public Storage, and most importantly, Haden, saved the day.
