Local rep is personable. Only reason for a star. Signed a contract with agreed terms. Paid a non-itemized prorated rental fee the first month. 2 days later received an invoice for the next months rent due by the first of the month. This time the itemized invoice included an insurance fees that I very clearly declined. They fully admit their mistake but will not refund the fee for last month nor edit my invoice so I can pay the correct amount this month. They got $60 out of me for the first month plus the price of a lock, and I got nothing in return. Since the invoice was incorrect, I never moved in. I will not overpay another months rent knowing full well they wont refund their mistake. While I guess shady practices should be expected in the storage unit business, I don't do shady business. I pulled the plug. I'll find an upstanding place to store my overflow. **UPDATE REGARDING RESPONSE BELOW - 2 hours after you wrote your reply below you sent me an invoice with both the insurance (that the site manager twice said had been removed) and as of today, a late fee. I cancelled this yesterday (3/5) and will not be paying. Your business practices and processes make you look silly and unprofessional. For the love of humanity, just doing the right thing and what you are contracted to do. I have called multiple times. I will not waste anymore time working on this incredibly simple problem to fix. Do your own investigation and fix your companies mistakes. Stop trying to force me to overpay for your laziness. I'd NEVER run a company this way.

The local staff was very helpful and very prompt. The corporate folks increased their rental price on both units, so I moved out.
