Update: In less than a year they have raised rates at least two times. Avoid if you plan to rent for more than a couple of months. Onsite manager is nice. But the corporate office out of state within two to three months raises the rental cost by at least 80% for the two largest size units. In decades of renting units I have never experienced this. Corporate office is also very poor in communicating effectively. The person who executes these rate hikes does not respond in a timely nor coherent manner. This is not an increase from after having received a free month either (in my case I did not receive a free month on any of the units I rent). And the increase is exponentially higher for the two largest size units. e.g., about 20% for small to midsize units versus 80% for the largest size units. If you are looking for storage for two to three months at this place is possibly worth using. If you are looking to store for longer than two to three months and seeking multiple units, I highly recommend that you find somewhere else that does not increase rates multiple times a year and more than 20% percent at a time. Management does not take into consideration nor seems to care even if you rent multiple units from them or seek to rent long term. I deeply regret having recommended at first this storage unit to multiple residents and business owners and plan in the future to recommended others look elsewhere.

We used this location for 3 summers. Each 5*5 unit we held was clean and safe, we had absolutely no issues, always found everything as we left it. The local site manager was outstanding. She was a trusty advisor and manager of our rental, always polite and professional, timely in her replies, and willing to go whatever length may have been needed to help us with unit selection, reservation, online set up, and management of the lease, all the way to the closing. In this time and age when there are so many similar options to everything, it is the customer skills that make the deciding difference, and that is where the local manager was the key to our exceptional experience. Edit: i do not know if this company has changed owners or are under new management or what but when i used them this last time i waa highly dissatisfied and would never recommend this facility to anyone! They give you a low rate to begin with and then within a month or two they hike it to almost double of what you were paying originally if not more. They claim youre contracted monthly so they can changed their rates whenever and however they want to. They also are very much not temperature controlled at all. Once i moved my items out i found several things were damaged due to the extreme heat in the building! They claimed the year before it was only so hot in the units because of the ac being broken. Well a year later and it still was not fixed. All summer long the units were twice as hot as it was outside. !! These units also are not very well protected. They have a keypad on front that keeps the units unlocked instead of requiring code per access and there are sketchy ppl constantly walking around. Jesika was very friendly and helpful. The sign up process was easy and I was able to complete most of it from my desk at work. The facility is very clean and secure.

The representative who served me was helpful, knew her job well. Very professional and kind. The prices beat all other storage facilities in Lafayette and I would recommend cube smart to anyone looking for an affordable, clean,decent sized storage units
