When people take time to write reviews, you need to read them so you don't deal with the same issues. The Manager at the Shelbyville Ky 40065 location was extremely rude and unprofessional. I tried to call other locations, so I could get the regional manager's number to speak about his conduct. But, instead the same manager would call me back laughing saying I'm not going to get he's manager. I guess their corporate headquarters doesn't care, because I read a review complaining about the same guy.. IT WON'T ALLOW YOU TO PUT ZERO STARS, IN REALITY ITS NEGATIVE

Look elsewhere to store your stuff. Current manager is very rude. I reported people loitering within facility and he was very defensive. I only reported out of safety concerns. Facility has become filthy and unsafe. During latest storm we had dead bird in our unit and debris from ceiling because all they have is chickenwire for ceiling. Now they have new problem of pigeons. I visited facility twice the other day and there was a couple on foot waiting to enter and when I left again a motorcyclist waited to follow me out. I will not let my wife visit alone. But the rudeness of current manager was last straw.

I have had a wonderful experience renting a space here. The personnel are great to interact with, and the payment process is clean and easy. I'd specifically like to point out Jeremy from the team/management. He made any issues I had making payments, contacting the weekend call center, etc. a walk in the park. He was truly one of the best customer service staff members I've ever encountered in any field. Thank you all for your hospitality and kindness. I would and will recommend freeup storage to anyone looking for a space they need.
