If you decline their insurance and provide proof of your own coverage, make sure you reliably give them an updated copy of your declaration. Once the copy they have expires, they immediately put you on their highest insurance plan without even notifying you. This was implemented without any warning. I tried to get some type of reimbursement after a few months of this, and was told there’s nothing they could do. I have stored here for many years. Many issues other reviews mentioned have been ongoing. Devon Self Storage only cares about revenue, couldn’t care less about customers OR employees. Don’t be too unhappy with the site staff, Devon’s problems start from the top. Pick literally any other storage company, trust me.

So I met Heather yesterday and we hit it off! She’s wonderful and I’m sad she’s leaving but today she was super helpful w the codes and doors. I’m glad she was there to assist! The place is clean and very nice. Thank you for the warm welcome.. yes Heather was great. However there were several people Living in their storage units. Couple times after hours I’d find people wandering around and pungent smells of pot. One guy was riding on a bike thru the place!!! And the elevator closest to my unit- moving out was a task- it had been out for quite a few days. Staff are helpful tho
