Cube Smart is the way to go..

Nothing but trouble at this location. Rented a smaller unit, the locking mechanisms are inferior and jam up easy, and don't lock properly sometimes. My unit was broken into along with 6 others. Because my locking mechanism didn't allow it to be locked properly, I wasn't able to make an insurance claim. Alot of my belongings got ruined , 7 trash bags. Sierra, the rudest storage unit manager ever just informed me that I'm not allowed to put the 7 trash bags of my ruined property in their dumpster. She told me I have to dispose of them.l, suggesting that I throw them away at neighboring businesses wich is illegal.I currently have no vehicle. Its been a nightmare. Cube Smart is happy to take me along with many others who had enough with S.R.O.A.

I just wanted to let you all know that I just rented a storage unit from storage rentals of America and had the BEST ever service from the young lady Jenny Barker VERY PROFESSIONAL service explained all details and rules with a very nice smile. Not once did Jenny ever make eye contact with myself without a BIG SMILE. I would recommend anyone that needs a storage space to go see Jenny at Storage Rentals of America at 504 E.Michigan Ave Kalamazoo mi. Sincerely Duane and Trisha Warnicke

Caution, do you not store with this company. My daughter had a unit at the E. Michigan Ave. location in Kalamazoo Michigan. She purchased the $2000 insurance, filed a police report , filed a claim and hasn’t heard anything since August 24th. The property isn’t fully secured or fenced along the backside. No cameras along the back of units either. The police report states there were tire tracks backed up to the backside of the unit where the robbers broke through a wall taking items and destroying what was left behind. The website indicated a secured fence location which is not true. My daughter purchased their additional Insurance which they are not honoring. We have sent several emails and left several messages and no one will return our calls.

I went 2 diferent locations and operation manager was not there and they keep saying over the phone, "the operation manager is there" When I finally rented, without allowing me access to see the storage, the storage unit was dirty, with food rests, cigarette buts, oil and pee stains. I informed them right away, and the next day and they place a cleaning the unit, still not done, this is the third day I call to clean the locker before I can occupy it, and they said takes 36 to 48 business hour to process. Tomorrow, I will call and if they don't resolve will consult a lawyer
