Beware!!!!! They raised my monthly rate 50% without telling me. They said they have the right to raise it any time they want based on location of unit and how close it is to the office. Beware no notice was sent and the are scammers. Beware!!!!!! If you want a storage unit find someone else because you will be sorry I promise you that

Dishonest in my opinion. I rented a unit back in April 2025, and the rent was around $36 I believe. Come September and they jack the rent up to around $53. I called customer service and I was told it was a “market increase.” Keep in mind they will also charge insurance fees on top of that if you don’t have your own. That’s a 68% increase according to my calculations! Do you think your boss will give you a 68% pay increase if you asked for it? I doubt it. No loyalty to existing customers. I was once a very happy customer, but now I have removed all my stuff and will no longer trust this company again. I think they are dishonest and taking advantage of people. I have vacated my unit, and I recommend that people look for a different option. Within 5 hours I had the old unit vacated, a new unit secured with another company, and all my stuff safely stored in the new unit. Look at A Bigger Garage in Carleton. They took good care of me. As for the old place—I’ll never rent from you after this stunt.

From the moment I walked into the front office there was a wonderful kind woman at the front counter. Hailey was on the phone with a customer and she acknowledged me right away and I felt very welcomed when I spoke to her. She helped me out with my new password, she also helped me purchase a new lock for my storage unit. Storage Rental of America should be very happy they have a great person as the face of the storage units there on telegraph road in Monroe....John campbell

I reserved a storage unit with them and when I came to fill out the paperwork and move my stuff in no one was at the building. It was during normal business hours but apparently they decided to be closed that day. I didn't see them advertise it, but it cost like $36 down payment including insurance to move your stuff in to their facility. After talking to there call center I gave up on using them for my storage needs. They call me just about everyday asking if I still want a storage unit. I wish I could tell you guys how good their storage actually is but I never even made it into the building.
