I’ve been a customer of Stowaway Storage for a long time. Not on purpose but by situational happenstance. I had immediate dread when Extra Storage took over Stowaway because I have heard many issues of them raising the unit rents so high that it became too unaffordable and the people who were renting them had to get rid of things they didn’t want to but timing wand pricing became the battle. I wish they had a different model for long term storage rates. For people who live in small spaces where there isn’t a lot of room, we depend on storage units. I had hoped it would not have been for this long because I had been hoping to move into a bigger place with storage but the economy and my salary have not improved much so I either have to get rid of the stuff I store or continue to pay monthly. I hope I don’t end up with the same plight others I know had with Extra Storage. As far as the property itself, it’s very clean and well maintained and John has been an awesome manager! Even when it was Stowaway, he was always there to help his customers with fast response times. I’d recommend it specifically because of him.

I recently rented a 10x10 climate controlled storage unit. The online process was incredibly easy, and they had the unit ready same day. All of the entry information was correct, and in less than a couple of hours I was ready to store my stuff! Having a lock from a prior unit, I did not need the lock they provided and charged. Upon returning it to the main office, they quickly provided a credit to my next bill and sent me on my way! Thank you ESS for a great experience!

Me and my family have used this storage unit for years, prior to Extra space storage buying Stowaway. Management is phenomenal they are extremely nice and very helpful. Two years I personally had items at this storage and never once encountered any issues. I would happily recommend this storage unit to anyone. They make moving easy. Mike personally is amazing, he was there the day I moved my things in and he was there the day I moved my things out; and he remembered me after two years. If that’s not outstanding customer service I don’t know what is !
