I’ve been with Extra Space Storage since 2023. The staff has always been friendly and helpful, and the facility was very clean at first. Unfortunately, that has changed. About a month ago, I found mice droppings all over my unit and had to file a complaint. I was told other renters were storing dry food, which attracted rodents. Although my items were not affected (I kept them sealed) this was very concerning and ultimately led me to move out. The pricing is also misleading. The advertised rates increase after a few months, and you’re required to pay insurance and taxes on your unit. There’s also a five-day grace period before a $20 late fee is added to your account. While the staff is great, I wouldn’t recommend this location due to the rodent issue and rising costs.
Nipsy HarrisI loved my space at the Jersey city communipaw location. Staff members are very professional and helpful when it came down to getting the size unit I needed. I got a 5x10 to fit my couch mattress fireplace night stand and some boxes. Also clean and safe site every checkpoint needs an access code. Check their deals online very affordable prices. I will keep this place in mind when I need storage again. Thanks Team
