The Local Storage in Lopatcong, NJ is a well run, clean, safe and climate controlled facility. I used this storage unit for 2 years and never had an issue. Anytime I called the main number everyone was professional, courteous and helpful. I highly recommend this company and facility.

Ever since this place got a new owner, its been awful. This place WAS amazing when it was Access self storage. now its local storage since they changed the name. All the new owners do is raise the price every single month, and don't take care of the place. Rent has gone up over $40 in less than 4 months. Yea, definitely losing our business and moving to another place that's cheaper and doesn't rip you off. update; it is accurate actually, your the biggest rip off in the area. no wonder everyone is leaving. 2 other places beat your prices not even close. without fees. our account is under my girlfriends name. you idiots would not even return our calls or email for us to cancel. we FINALLY were able to put our notice in today that we are moving out and changing to a new storage location. you dont even have a live person on location anymore. wont answer calls or emails. absolute joke. PRIME storage OR Sentinal storage is way cheaper, nicer, and actually talk to you. you only respond when some one calls you out on your bs. your growing the worst reputation in this area.

This is a terrific self storage facility, the units are enclosed within a 3 story building, the units were clean and the manager Jim is very polite, respectful and helpful. I got a 5'x5' unit to store some things. The ceilings are high so you can store a lot if you organize it well. They sell boxes too. It's in a nice location and it feels very secure. They offer self serve kiosk as well.

Bathrooms are always disgusting with body fluids all over the seats. No garbage on site for the customers so everyone uses the bathroom small cans and they get disgusting rather quickly. I wish they’d let us there at any hour since everything is under lock and key anyway. This is one of the pricer storage units but they are temperature controlled indoor units. Easy place to store your items, nobody really bothers you which can be detrimental if your stuff falls on you, I’m really not sure if anyone would come to your rescue. I would raise this review to 5 stars if there rates were about $20 cheaper, they don’t even have someone there consistently. One employee will come by once in the evening just to make sure the toilet paper is where it should be, she didn’t even clean it the night I was there.

This place was awful. We ended up going to a different facility. You have to go to a kiosk there's no live person and when you try to sign up for your unit they put things in there for you that aren't true like saying you have a lean against the things you're putting in the storage unit and there's no way to clear it. Then there's no one to talk to and when you call their phone number oh we'll get the manager online I have still yet to get a call from the manager even though I just walked away and went to a different facility where there was an actual human being to work with. I will never use this company again I don't care what state planet universe it is in they are awful and have no clue how to handle a business.
