I had a really great experience with Extra Space Storage. The staff was extremely helpful from the moment I walked in. They took the time to answer all my questions and made the entire process very easy and helpful. It can sometimes be stressful dealing with storage and moving things around, but their team was incredibly helpful in explaining my options and helping me choose the right unit. The facility itself was very clean and organized, which was also really helpful when moving items in and out. Whenever I needed assistance, someone was always available and willing to be helpful. It made a big difference knowing there was a helpful team there if I needed anything. Overall, I would definitely recommend Extra Space Storage to anyone looking for a storage unit. The customer service was truly helpful, the process was helpful and straightforward, and the staff went out of their way to be helpful every step of the way.

These two employees Rose the manager and Josh. her assistant were Amazing. They were really very helpful with selecting the right size storage unit as well as giving me the extra time To make aneducated selection. The facility itself was spotless as well as the 10 x 10 storage locker we rented. Very impressed.

This is the best storage locker that I ever rented. I love the drive in, enclosed entry and exit. Makes you feel safe while picking up or dropping off your belongings. Extra Space Storage, provided moving beds that made moving a breeze and easy on your body. My unit and building was very clean with bright lighting. I rented my unit online and received a call from Josh, of Extra Space Storage. He was very kind, expressed amazing customer service and met me when I arrived.

UPDATE 3/1/26: We were frustrated by ANOTHER rate hike but Josh gave me a call and helped get the rate lower. I anticipate another rate hike in 3 months but credit where credit is due-- thanks, Josh. UPDATE 12/2025: After leaving this review, I finally received a call from the company-- not to address the issues below, but to inform me they reviewed security footage and saw that I disposed of 1 box in the dumpster, which they stated is for staff use only. It says "private use" on it, so I assumed that meant for customers and sign was there so the general public didn't use it. And to add insult to injury, when we were moved from one unit to another after a major rate increase, we discovered an entirely eaten gallon of ice cream (with a spoon still inside) left in our old unit. I swear I can't make this stuff up. -- We booked this location from out of state, and having never seen it in person, we were a bit nervous. When we arrived with a huge moving truck carrying everything from our three-bedroom home, we were pleasantly surprised. The facility was clean, the security measures seemed solid, and the app to open doors was genuinely convenient. Unfortunately, what started off great went downhill fast. After bringing up maybe 10% of our items to our 3rd-floor unit, the elevator stopped working, completely shutting off access to our unit. We had no choice but to leave it unlocked overnight with belongings inside. There were no solutions offered. To make matters worse, we were told we needed to rent AND PAY for an entirely NEW unit on the first floor just so our movers could unload the rest of our truck. Then, once the elevator was functioning again 2 days later, my husband had to come back and move everything into the original unit himself. I genuinely feel for Rose and the other staff, who are clearly doing their best and likely deal with upset customers every day. But the lack of actual solutions or support was extremely frustrating. Their hands are tied by corporate, and being forced to pay for another unit due to THEIR building access issue was unacceptable. If that wasn’t enough, after just four months, the price of our unit jumped by almost $100 per month. When I checked online, new units were renting for nearly $200 less than what we were going to be charged. When I inquired about moving into a new unit so I could get the new price of those (assuming they wouldn't just adjust the price to honor what they were giving to new customers to existing customers), I was told there was “no promotion hopping.” The price increase felt like a classic bait-and-switch tactic and a crummy way to go about business. We cannot wait to move our things out. Overall, this experience has felt like a scammy, profit-first way to run a business, and I wouldn’t recommend just based on the policies and lack of customer support alone. I know corporate will comment on this review with an offer for me to give them a call, but what's the point?
