Had an amazing customer service experience with Amanda at the public storage. Just a very helpful person. Kind, welcoming, knowledgeable made the process extremely easy and really cared about my storage needs. As far as size, I didn't feel as though I was being upsold. Amanda did a very good job of listening to what my storage needs were and providing the best option available. Highly recommend. Amanda's customer service is top notch.

They're expensive! The remote access through the phone app works sometimes. The elevator has been "out of order" for at least 2 months. This site just recently started offering 24/7 access for a huge extra monthly fee. If you do not have that option, the hours of access are inconvenient for me. Being denied access after 9pm is ridiculous. Midnight would be fine. I was inside the facility way before 9pm but took a little longer than expected because I had to rearrange my unit to make room for a few things and tried to leave at 9:03pm and was locked inside the parking lot. The gate kept denying me access to exit. I called the property manager multiple times and NEVER received a call back. I had to call Stafford PD to come and let me out. That's not the first time I've had to call the property manager for other reasons and I have never gotten anyone to answer the phone, was only able to leave a voicemail but NO ONE EVER CALLS BACK! Same problem when calling the corporate 800 number. If this wasn't a giant chain corporation, I'd swear it was a money laundering front. It's so shady. If I had the time, money, and energy, I would transfer my belongings to another unaffiliated storage company. The ONLY things I LIKE about this place is being able to manage my account online AND the bathrooms are super clean!

100% go to place if you deal with the local staff on the ground - which unfortunately in today's Corp world is almost never the case. I couldn't reserve a space at the West Creek, NJ location through the general site due to the site not accepting CC info, but after navigating to JACOB in the office - I was able to get it done tout suite! JACOB was amazing, attentive to my needs, understanding, and bottom line, everything a company would want in a FRONT-LINE REPRESENTATIVE OF A BRAND. He took it upon himself to make a recommendation to expedite my needs that would help his company, and his customer and he got the business done. He further has a recommendation for his Regional that I will leave to him to discuss that would greatly serve his customers... GREAT experience with JACOB, and if I owned my own storage facility, he would be my GM until we owned enough properties to take over as a regional... Thanks JACOB in West Creek, NJ for your assistance this morning - you are going places!

My wife & I visited the West Creek location this afternoon. We were greeted by Amanda who was incredibly gracious!! She answered all of our questions & explained all of the options as well as a tour of the facility. We will undoubtedly recommend Public Storage in West Creek to all our friends & relatives!! Completely dissatisfied with the service at Public Storage. I was excited to be able to store things at the new Public Storage near me. It's in walking distance from my house, clean and I loved all the automation with the app. On my first visit the facility provided me a lock because all the units use a special kind of lock. I had trouble getting the lock to work. The person in the office told me that I needed to just play with it and that the lock needed to be inserted halfway in order to latch. It didn't seem right but I followed the instructions. Ultimately I was able to get it to lock. A week later, I arrived to put more things in my unit and the lock would not open. When I went to the office, I was told that someone would need to come to cut the lock and that it "might be sometime this week." After a few days of hearing nothing, I went to the office. I was told that the district manager said he was not going to come to the facility to remove the lock and that I needed to hire a locksmith (at my own expense). It was obvious the level of service from this facility was not good and I decided I would vacate. That day I hired a locksmith who drilled out the lock and I removed my contents and ended my rental. This is the worst and most uncooperative experience I've ever had with a storage facility and I've rented many over the years. Unfortunate. I really wanted to rent here. I ended up going to a competitor a couple miles away.
