I managed to lock myself out of my car while trying to access the storage unit today …. The owner went above and beyond for me and drove me back to my home so I could retrieve my spare key. He was so gracious and refused to accept any payment for his bother and I was left feeling so impressed with his service. If I ever need storage in the future I wouldn’t hesitate to use this facility…. The nicest and most helpful person. Thank you

I rented with Guardian Self Storage for OVER 30 years at this location, without any issues at all during that entire time span. Then "Prime" came in and, immediately, myself and other users of this site found that our storage unit contents had been damaged by sand and gravel that was inexplicably blown into them. The manager at this Warwick location, "Joe", did a unit inspection, explained that other users had also complained, and then he wrote a report that he promised to email to me. It never arrived, and when I returned to the office, the person there stated that no one by that name even worked there, and the corporate offices in upstate NY basically told me to get lost. Then, unexplained extra charges came in, for alleged insurance lapses despite the fact that I had documentation evidencing continued and uninterrupted renters' insurance on the unit. They even double-locked my unit without notice, ALL THIS DESPITE THE FACT THAT I WAS NEVE RLATE WITH PAY AND KEPT UNINTERRUPTED INSURANCE coverage on the unit (!!!!). After protracted 'back and forth' and legal threats to "Prime", the corporate offices stated they would "comp" me the charges- the charges that were erroneous and ILLEGAL on the part of Prime. Then the harassment from the location manager began to increase, and after I'd found that someone had, intentionally this time, covered the contents of my unit ( my valuable belongings) with fine sand blown-in from the gap beneath the door, I decided to call it quits. After 30+ incident-free years with a GREAT company like "Guardian Self Storage", this new owner, "Prime", and their incompetence, their repetitive damage to my unit's contents, their false charges and their harassment were too much. I gave more-than ample notice and moved my belongings to a different company's storage space, at FAR lower rent and MUCH nice, cleaner, quarters, with genuinely professional management. I cannot stress in strong enough terms how disgusted I am with "Prime Storage". If you value your belongings , stay FAR AWAY from this fly-by-night scam.

Bait and Switch Deal!! They get you to sign up with 1 month free and a reasonable rate. In my case, I got the first month free. Then paid the "reasonable rate" for 2 months. The third month they INCREASED THE RATE 67%!! The onsite employee excuse was that "all of the big chain storage companies do it". I Immediately took my stuff out. I rented from 3 other storage companies, and all only changed rates after a year and by small amounts. NEVER 67%!! IF YOU RENT FROM PRIME STORAGE, GET A ONE YEAR GUARANTEED RATE! (The employee told me they don't give guarantees on rates however) Too bad I can't give a zero-star rating!
