I rented a climate-controlled unit for one year. The employees I interacted with were very friendly and helpful and the facility feels safe. I thought I would be giving a 5 star review, until I moved out of my unit. When I opened the door, I found several things, including 2 archival photo boxes, covered in mold. All of my belongings were in great condition when I moved them in. Not so when I moved out. I have rented climate controlled units from various storage facilities over the years and have never encountered this problem. I don’t know what happened here, but maybe the “climate control” isn’t controlling the climate very well. Be careful if you have valuable items or irreplaceable mementos. I’ve included a few photos as examples.

This was the cleanest and most convenient facility yet! We have used Extra Space Storage in other cities, but this is by far my favorite. The office staff is amazing. Ray had called me minutes within final move out because they had been doing a routine inspection of the units and saw my lock had been removed. I didn’t even need to complete a move out form as she went ahead and did it for me. Elevators and the provided carts were so appreciated! This is the place you want to use for summer, college, or any other storage. It is the best!

I had an amazing experience with Extra Space Storage! Their units/building was well maintained and looked after, and I truly felt safe storing all of my belongings with them! Ray went above and beyond to help give us a great and stress free experience throughout the duration of our rental and I would definitely store my stuff again with them in the future!
