Bad Customer service
I am writing this bad review is that the young lady Heather was very rude. My deceased ex-husband has a storage there that his family asked me to make a payment on since they are not in town. I asked for a receipt since I USDED my cc and she said rudely, I would have to get him from them, as I stated to her, I do not communicate with that person and I need one for my record, very rude and not helpful. Consider taking your items to life storage so much better customer service.

At Slate, we take tenant account security and privacy very seriously. I am so sorry that the solution we proposed to you has been so upsetting. Unfortunately, in situations like this one our only official forms of communication are in person, and via the email that is listed on the account. We are more than happy to update any account information that is sent to us specifically from that email account. We cannot send account information (including receipts) to email addresses that are not listed. If you would like to contact the office on Monday to verify that the mailing address I have on file for you is accurate, I can mail the receipt to you. If it is not, again, I would need to see you in person or have the update sent via email.
