I see some glowing reviews for the Bird in Hand facility and I feel disappointed that I’ve had quite the opposite experience! I had nothing but problems from day one. I could list all the problems I’ve had but I’ll highlight my last problem. As I went to pay my 7th month bill, I sign into my account to see that my payment of $79.50/mo. was now $165! I call the site manager find out why. My first two attempts went unanswered. I called the main customer service line and was told only my site manager could help. Finally, I receive a call from the site manager and she only wanted to be heard and did not have any interest in listening to my inquiry. A defensive and condescending tone is what I received. I was told that I was sent an email in January about the rate hike. I never received an email! I searched my email trash and spam. There was no answer as to how they could justify more than doubling my monthly fee!? I was told to pay it or my account will get sent to collections. With less and less face to face customer service businesses, I feel it’s easy for them to be less personable and not recognize the humanity of their customers. It seems it’s just easy to hide behind the phone and treat their customers poorly. Im very disappointed by this sites management. Needless to say I will be emptying my unit immediately! $165/mo for a storage unit is ridiculous! Don’t let them rob you!
Storage Sense -Bird in Hand was a top-notch storage experience for us with our RV! We experienced a medical emergency when camping in the Lancaster area and unexpectedly needed an immediate place to store our camper. The staff at Storage Sense were extremely responsive, kind, and understanding in our moment of need. At a time of great stress, we were relieved to quickly find a solution to a situation that seemed very daunting and complicated to us. Now, a month later from our emergency, we were able to return to the area and find our camper safe and secure at the Storage Sense facility! Thank you, thank you to your staff! We highly recommend this facility!!
Impossible to get in contact with management for support - once I did (after a month and a half, and six + messages) my issues were disregarded and left unresolved. It shouldn’t be that difficult to get a proper access code. There were other issues, but had no expectations of reaching a resolution after said lack of communication experiences, so I went elsewhere. I hoped for convenience and was left with a headache, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.
It was great from the beginning till the end !! The managerial staffed customer service is excellent for their knowledge & expertise as well as their willingness to assist the management team "at" the property ;) It was perfection !! Easy is the best word to describe. Plus working on your unit with a beautiful farm in front of you was lovely and calming...and horses rolling in the grass was a sweet show to see when in my unit. I loved that !!! :-D
The staff are quick responding to concerns and issues, very respectful. There was a mapping error that had a unit we were assigned listed as one size but it was much smaller, it was able to hold us over for our furniture delivery. When staff arrived upon opening they were quick to resolve the issue with a unit close by to the unit we recieved in error.
