Update: I must admit that I never expected a response to my review (below) but I was pleasantly surprised when I received a call from the Regional Manager, Matt, asking how he could resolve my issues and renrew my faith in Storage Rentals of America. There were things that could obviously not be remedied, like rewinding the day from hell and starting over, BUT he has come pretty close. He offered to pay a few months worth of my storage fee, which is super appreciated, but he also contacted the property manager and had the wiring above my unit fixed. He kept in contact the entire time and consistently apologized for my initial experience. As I said, I wasn't even expecting a response to my complaint, so for Matt to be so focused on making the situation "right" I can honestly say that I have renewed faith in his company and plan to continue my use of the facility well into the future. 4 Stars because we can't undo the first day but it's definitely been a much better experience since that fateful day. I would now be remiss not to recommend this company as they clearly listen to their customers and make every attempt to remedy reasonable concerns. Thank you Matt!! I really appreciate all of your effort! **Absolute worst experience!! Reserved a unit online and scheduled for yesterday. Arrived (with a full 15 foot Uhaul) only to find there was no office at this location and I needed to go to another location to register for my unit. (This wasn't written anywhere on the reservation paperwork) Went to the other location and that office was closed! Frustrated, I called the company and was able to get set up over the phone. I was given unit O-813. After searching for over an hour I was forced to call the company back. After speaking with multiple representatives (who all assured me I must not be looking in the correct place) and walking all over the property, it was discovered that unit O-813 didn't exist!!!! Took hours out of an already exhausting day. Nobody likes moving and this made the entire experience sooooo much worse! I was literally in tears.... oh and by the way, was offered 25% off the first four months on unit O-813. Guess what.... that offer doesn't apply to my new unit! After finally getting in to unload I noticed a nice huge hole cut out of the ceiling... I would never recommend this company to anyone, ever. If I hadn't already been through hell and back and had the time and money to move my stuff elsewhere I WOULD. Guess I'm stuck for now....

Stephanie seems to be the only competent one on the staff.. Wait . Oh she IS the only one on staff. Well damn . Bravo miss Stephanie ..and I raise my glasses to you 🥂😎🥸 The place was rough a year ago , but Its improved a lot ! No small feat for a small small crew and two properties ! she is running a tight ship and watching those sails. Give this woman a raise will ya? 😂👏🏻

I own a moving company, and one of my customers units were recently broken into. No one was at the office to help customers. I was talking to an office lady named Stephanie over the phone, she was very disrespectful it seemed as if she wanted to spark an argument with me. She was not trying to listen to any questions I had about the break in. She seemed upset that I was a customer trying to get understanding with the situation. She continued to yell at me, even though my customers unit was broken into. She had no compassion for the me the customer, in this situation. Gage was very respectful and helpful. He answered every question I had with the best of his knowledge and respect. He understood what I was going through and helped me feel a little better about the break in. Honestly, talking to Stephanie I will NEVER use this company again no matter what city or state I am in. I also advised my partners in restoration not use this company in their areas as well. The disrespect from Stephanie was very uncalled for. I was not only violated by the brake in, Stephanie trying to start an argument, she was past unprofessional.

This has been the WORSE experience I have ever had with a storage unit. I purchased a unit one day, rent a uhaul the next day to put my things in storage before the bad weather comes thru. I get to the storage early the next day and theres a lock on the unit that they assigned me. I immediately called them and no one has answered or been there to help me. Now it’s 4 days later and still no one from the physical office has contacted me back! This is not good customer service! Will not recommend anyone. This has cost me more money, especially being I had to find somewhere to put my things, turn in the rental truck. Now possibly have to rerent the rental truck and do it all over again! Would give a 0 stars, but it’s not an option! Horrible….
