This review is ONLY 3 stars because of Lupe. I give him 5 stars! I've had a unit here for 5 yrs. And this is the only manager that actually calls me back and does what he says, is here when he says he will be. I had some app problems he called for me and left me messages updating me in developments. Truly goes the extra mile. Thank you Lupe! For this storage place I leave 1 star because after specifically asking about pest control and insurance covering it, when I got the unit. I came back after 5 years to find my belongings absolutely destroyed. I had a brand new bed and new furniture. Rats decimated it all. And the insurance doesn't cover it. They say oh u must've had food. No I didn't. I knew I was leaving I was concerned about pests. They clearly loved my new bed and boxes and brought whatever food with them. Because everything is destroyed. And not only will they not cover it. There's not even a dumpster to get rid of it. Disgusting. Oh and they don't tell u that they raise the rates arbitrarily. I've come twice before to try to get into it. Both times the previous manger either locked himself out and couldn't get back into the building or they never showed up. So after flying here. Twice. To clear it. I finally find all my belongings destroyed. There were even dead rats in the unit. If u rent a starge unit maintain renters insurance it would've covered it I had no idea I thought I was covered. Also. Cover and protect your things as if rats will be walking on it.

Very smooth move-in process. Excellent help and support by Lupe at the facility. Great prices only compared to other local facilities nearby. They provided the lock at no cost nor deposit.

Things were going well for a year or so, but they doubled my rent during that time which was quite unfortunate and feels predatory. The facility feels safe and secure with all of the keypads for access. However when I most recently went to the storage unit, it was clear someone had gained access to my unit and rummaged through my stuff. I don't even know what is stolen at this point. They went in through the top of the unit which has a gap for some dumb reason. Do not assume this is a secure facility.

I had my unit at Public Storage for several months, and everything went super smoothly. The location was really convenient and easy to access. When it was time for me to move my things out, I called to ask what I needed to do, and I got a call back right away from Lupe. He was so nice, professional, and helpful. He clearly explained what steps I needed to take to close out my account properly. I really appreciated the great customer service and how easy the whole process was. If I ever need storage again, I’ll definitely be coming back here. Highly recommend!

This place is honestly the best storage spot in Austin. The units are super clean, no bugs or mold ever which is a big deal for me. Everything’s always working like it should, elevator runs smooth every time. Jessica’s helped me out a bunch setting up our units—she’s awesome, super friendly and just makes the whole process easy. Lupe’s newer but he’s great too, really attentive and made sure everything went smooth. Didn’t miss a beat. Highly recommend this place if you need storage. Can’t go wrong here.
