Was easy to set up quickly online when we needed some extra storage after our last move. We stayed with Extra Space for around 2 years, and our stuff was kept secure and in good condition from start to finish. It was always clean and had carts available for transport when we visited. We finally cleaned out a couple weeks ago, and overall that went smoothly as well. Access can be a little narrow when there's multiple vehicles parked, but most are considerate and will try to avoid blocking. We

Lights are out in the facility which make it difficult to see what’s being placed in the storage unit. They say they have vendors coming to fix with no ETA. It would be nice if they can provide a portable light to use in the meantime or mention that prior to renting out the unit. I don’t understand why maintenance is not a priority at this location.

Ms Jocelyn and Ashley were so kind and straight toward. My check in/lease agreement went smoothly and fast. Jocelyn answered all my questions and she’s only been there a month! I wouldn’t have known if she didn’t mention it :) Keep up the great hospitality!

I used the services of this storage facility. The staff were rude and unprofessional, and the customer service was terrible. They continued charging me even one month after I had already moved out. The ramps are very large, but the road is extremely narrow — when someone is loading or unloading, others cannot pass, and you are constantly blocking each other. Very often the exit gates were broken, and I had to turn around and drive back through the entire facility to use the main gate. They also raise the rental price frequently. Maybe this is just my personal experience, but I have used many storage facilities before and have never encountered such poor service.

⚠️🚨🙅‍♀️👎DO NOT GO HERE. THEY WILL LIE TO YOU ABOUT THE PRICE. They are basically scammers. Last year in May of 2024 I called around to find the best price in Federal Way for a storage unit. On the phone they told me it would be $87 a month for a 10x15 unit. I asked them if this was a promotional price - considering it was almost summer. They said no, it's not a promotional price. I asked them if my price would be guaranteed to stay the same. They said yes. I decided to move all my stuff in. 2-3 months later I get a notice that my storage unit bill would be going up to $182.50 a month. That is more than double what I was paying before. If you do decide to go with this business anyway, I highly recommend to get EVERYTHING in writing. Do not believe a word they say. Also, the building my stuff was stored in there had constant issues with the electronic door (to get in and out of the building) and we have been stuck inside and had to wait for help from one of the employees to open it. For anyone reading this that is already a customer of Extra Storage Space, remember in the state of Washington storage unit facilities are legally required to provide at least 60 days written notice before increasing rent. Know your rights!!!! EDIT: the business has now responded with more BS and lies. You do not strive to provide clear communication. You strive to make as much money as possible, no matter how ethical or unethical. I never received a physical copy of my rental agreement so I'm not sure how you expect me to review it.
