I hate to give any business a poor rating, but a single person from this organization provided such a terrible experience that I will never use or refer Public Storage. I will not put in any names for this review to be fair. To simplify, and I'm sure that others will understand that some of us rent a vehicle to move our belongings and expect no issues with the storage facility when you have reserved and paid for a unit and also went into the office in person to make sure that you have provided everything they needed. So, rented the moving truck, spent the day loading it, drove it to Public Storage, enter the code, drove to the unit, and it's LOCKED and the office is closed!!! Luckily enough, I was able catch someone that worked there before she left for the day. She was amazing and tried everything to help get into the unit. I finally got a call from the manager and was told she locked the unit and blamed the other representative for not doing her job. She told me I had to wait until they opened in the morning and I said I couldn't do that since I rented a truck. I told her I needed a unit now and I couldn't wait. She ended up canceling my unit without my approval and left us hanging near 6pm with the charges still on my card. I do not know why anyone would lock a unit when it's been reserved and not make effort to fix there mistake. This manager should not be in this role, or she is going to eventually effect the profitability if this location. Adding additional fraudulent activities. 3 additional charges for 3 different amounts were charged to my card without any form of approval. Called the customer service line and was told that a rental was closed on 2/2 and those were the prorated charges on a unit that was opened. Remember the manager canceled my unit on her own on the 31st. Receipt in hand.
