I’ve been using this storage unit intermittently for decades! It sets the standard within the industry for everything… great location right off the freeway, easy to enter/exit and most importantly, it’s extremely clean and well maintained! My friend, who’s used multiple different storage units tagged along while I was getting some things out of my unit and even she was super impressed at how clean it was!! As with most businesses, the management has shifted a lot. But as long as I was set up for auto-pay I never had a problem with the different owners. Cindy was super helpful and friendly with my move-out and I’m sorry to leave but I don’t plan on using any other storage unit after my experience here!

I recently needed to store my truck, and Angel at Extra Space Storage made the entire process incredibly smooth and stress-free. From the moment I walked in she was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely eager to help. She took the time to understand my needs, explained all the options clearly (including vehicle-specific details like sizing, access and security ), and walked me through the paperwork with patience and professionalism. Angel went above and beyond to ensure everything was set up perfectly—she even followed up to confirm I knew the location of my parking spot, I was happy with the area. Her positive attitude and outstanding customer service truly stood out. It’s rare to encounter someone so helpful and awesome these days! What a great deal and the staff was beyond accommodating. Very helpful. I would recommend the location on 112th in Tacoma ten times over. I appreciate their willingness to help in my time of need and they made the process seamless. Life savers…literally.

So I just started renting here and was advised that the manager was very un pleasant and rude, so when she called me the day after left 5 minutes after hours I immediately rolled my eyes and just thought great here we go... So when I spoke with Cindy she was very kind and just asked me to make sure I leave before close and since she noticed I rented online she very stern but in a kind manner explained to me the rules and what is expected of her customers. We spoke for a minute and now every time I see her it's pleasant for me. I love stopping and speaking with her, she is super funny and has been a great help with everything!! Point being I passed judgement where I shouldn't have and am more then glad to say Cindy is not just the manager at my local storage facility but she is my friend! Thank you Cindy, thank you for everything!

The new manager is super friendly and actually helpful. The other day I watched her helped 4 of us back to back without seeming overwhelmed and keeping a smile on her face. I would have been goin crazy! Lol So far the new company is way better than it was. Customer service goes a long way.
