Facility Overview & What to Expect
Verified Customer Reviews
This company used to be named Lock n' Roll storage and was locally owned. 11/21/2025 they were purchased by a real estate trust called Public Storage. They buy up locally owned storage units and currently own 9% of the storage facilities in the US. My experience with the new management has been horrible. When you call their number you get directed to an automated message service which takes about 5 minutes to go through the menu. If you contact sales they pick up immediately, if you want to connect with customer service it takes an additional 10 minutes or so while you wait in queue. You can see their priorities :) When I signed up with the prior company they offered me a 3 month promotion where I would pay 50% of the unit price then after three months I would pay full price. They were bought out by public storage a month into my promotional period. After calling their number and speaking with customer service, they said that they would not honor the promotional price. only when I told them that it was a deal breaker to me because it was dishonest for them to not honor it, they told me I should go to the store in person and ask to talk to the property manager. When I went to the store in person to explain the situation the person at the desk told me that he could not do anything and gave me the corporate number to call. I called that number and they contacted the front desk. Then the person from the front desk finally gave me the number for the property manager. Upon calling the property manager, he told me he would call me back the next day as he'd be at the property and was not able to look at the account right now. The next day passed and he did not call me. This is a simple thing and should have been corrected on day one. They should honor the agreement the prior company made with me because when they bought out that company, they also bought it's obligations. It's not just the moral thing but a legal requirement. My point being that the customer service is bad and this is not an honest company. I would not advise anyone to rent a unit from this place. The company owns 9% of the units in the US, so as far as they're concerned, you have nowhere else to go. they have no incentive to keep your business or earn your trust. Despite the family style language on their website, they do not care about treating you fairly.
FINALLY got my two spaces sorted out. Then, when i show up to fill the two 30X10' units not only are there lock on them but NOBODY AROUND to sort it out. Wasted an hour, with movers standing around, grinding the locks off. Just now got an email saying my account is in arrears despite seeing the charges posted last week. I called the national number as, apparently, having a local person is so "2020" or something. The automated system does not accept options so here I am with NO RECOURSE. I wonder how long it will be until they freeze my account and try and take ownership of the contents of my units? Was that the plan all along?? I stopped using the storage facility I USED TO use because of issues like this. Appears to be the "new normal" in the public storage space.
I apologize for the previous post. I don't know how that happened but I think this is one of the cleanest and most up-to-date storage facilities you can keep your stuff at. It's the only one that I've ever been to that has a restroom. I've been to units that smell like an army latrine. And the property manager has the prettiest smile I have ever seen. Thank you Q 😁. Once again my apology to the staff and the owners.
DONT RENT HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!! They used to be Lock N' Roll I have a 10x15 a small unit, I was paying $58 a lonth with insurance and everything. They switched over without notice to Public Storage and they raised the prices to $120 so the double out of the blue for no reason apparently. Horrible company Edit: I forgot to add they dont do split payments
Only thing that could make this a better storage facility for me is 24 hour access because I work 12 hour night continental shift.
